www.cittametropolitana.mi.itThe transition from Province to Metropolitan City called for the design of a recognizable and unique visual identity for all web communication tools, including official portal, URP and thematic sites. The project is the result of a careful analysis of needs and contents, but above all it is the result of a participatory work that continues to grow over time, from the rationalization of the numerous databases, to the optimization of the various servers, up to the reorganization of contents and services.
The layout and graphics of all web tools are characterized by high standards of image integration and coordination, by a minimalist style that is clear and straightforward in order to strengthen the image of the Metropolitan City.
The portal, created with customized and reusable modules, is based on the user experience of mobile browsing (smartphones and tablets), with big buttons, interaction areas, and vertical scrolling. Therefore, the screen automatically adapts to the device in use, including monitor resolution and the size of the browser window.
This flexibility joins information and interaction thanks to the activation of connections with all the social networks of the metropolitan city: YouTube, Facebook, Twitter, Issuu, Pinterest, and Instagram.
