The MIVedo video platform is a digital transformation project for the Public Administration, created by YouCo for the Metropolitan City of Milan. MIVedo is a video container to learn about the Milan metropolitan area, from its territory to its beauties and people.
The portal is a window on the activities of the Metropolitan City of Milan and a video channel open to the participation of municipalities, associations, and citizens.
On MIVedo, citizens can more easily and comprehensively consult the video library owned by the Metropolitan City, a cultural heritage of great value, with over 3500 video contents and a significant section of 16mm film works, produced since the early 1950s.
Features of MiVedo
Thanks to the MIVedo platform, the Metropolitan City of Milan makes accessible to citizens:
- an always updated showcase of the most recent videos and of greater public interest,
- a large archive of videos about the metropolitan area of Milan, grouped by topic in colored sections, which help each user find the videos of their interest.
The user experience of the MIVedo portal is optimized for use even by inexperienced clients, on every device, for every screen and browser.
The MIVedo project is among those realized by YouCo for the digital transformation of the PA, an area that requires strong specialization, solutions in line with AGID regulations and knowledge of all aspects related to accessibility for Public Administration portals.
Skills and project planning
The project, carried out in close synergy with the representatives of the Metropolitan City of Milan, saw the YouCo web agency engaged in the role of facilitator of Digital Transformation for the PA, an area that represents a true specialization for the agency.

With the web project created by YouCo, the Municipality of Segrate has equipped itself with an institutional portal fully in line with the accessibility guidelines produced by the Agency for Digital Italy.
A clean design and careful organization of content frame a website fully compatible with every device and optimized for the best user experience via smartphone and on the go.
High navigability and quick access to information by citizens: these were the main objectives of the project, which have been fully achieved and which place our Municipality at the forefront in the scenario of Italian PAs.
