Overview
The “Anticollision” module is designed to improve worker safety in industrial environments, particularly during operations where forklifts or other industrial vehicles are in motion.
This system employs a series of visual, auditory, and tactile warnings to ensure that forklift operators and pedestrian workers are aware of each other’s proximity and can avoid collisions.
Key features of AntiCollision
Alert for the forklift operator
When the forklift operator approaches an area where there are pedestrian workers, the “AntiCollision” system detects the proximity of workers and activates a flashing light visible to the operator.
Additionally, an audible siren emits a sound signal to draw the operator’s attention to the potential hazardous situation.
Alert for the pedestrian operator
Pedestrian operators entering the area at risk of collision with the forklift receive a warning through wearable devices.
These wearables are able to detect the presence of the forklift in the vicinity through technologies such as Bluetooth or RFID. When a pedestrian operator enters the risk area, their wearable emits a vibration to warn them of the presence of the industrial vehicle.
Event recording
The system can also record events where an alert was issued or a collision was avoided. This data can be used to analyze the system’s performance and to evaluate workplace safety. The main purpose of this is to significantly reduce the risk of accidents.
