“The Compass” is a useful and innovative project created to help students and their families with a Guide in choosing education and training paths after compulsory schooling in the Province of Monza and Brianza.
For the 2021/2022 school year, it was decided to renew the user experience and the graphic design of the existing portal and to create a dedicated app, to facilitate the consultation of various training opportunities, with updates and a map of schools and professional training centers, as well as all other useful information.
YouCo responded to this request, providing its knowledge and expertise in creating web solutions for Public Administration, starting from the AgID guidelines, to create a fully customized solution.
For the project, a study was carried out with subsequent implementation of the most innovative principles of User Experience and User Interface, always placing the user at the center of the project, a key point of YouCo’s working method, to make the website and application as accessible and usable as possible.
A new logo and a new image for the project were created, simple and recognizable, perfectly in line with the visual languages used and recognized by our target audience (in this case, students and families).
The project is part of the BrianzaRestart pact, to revitalize the economic fabric affected by the pandemic, offering a “guide” to students and families in a difficult time to learn about the wealth of opportunities in the area, also given the lack of open days and orientation events.
The Compass includes all the addresses and paths included in the POF (Educational Offering Plan) of the MB Province and approved by Decree No. 3710 of 26.10.2020 by the Lombardy Region.

To help students and families in their choice, the Province offers an orientation tool: the “Compass”, Guide to Higher Education and Training in Brianza. This year it features a new graphic design and a dedicated App, with various training opportunities, updates, and a map of schools and professional training centers (over 100 courses).
