“La Bussola” is a useful and innovative project created to help students and their families with a Guide to choosing education and training pathways following compulsory schooling in the Province of Monza and Brianza.
For the 2021/2022 school year, it was decided to redesign the user experience and the graphic design of the already existing portal and to create a dedicated app, to simplify the consultation of the various training possibilities, with the news and a map of schools and vocational training centres, as well as all other useful information.
YouCo responded to this request by providing its knowledge and expertise in creating web solutions for Public Administrations, starting from the AgID guidelines, to create a fully customised solution.
For the project, a study was carried out, resulting in the implementation of the most innovative User Experience and User Interface, always putting the user at the centre of the project, the cornerstone of YouCo’s working approach, to make the website and application as accessible and usable as possible.
The project was equipped with a new logo and image, simple and recognisable, perfectly in line with the visual language used and recognised by our target audience (in this case, students and families).
The project is part of the BrianzaRestart, aimed at restarting the economic fabric affected by the pandemic, offering students and families a “guide” at a difficult time, to learn about the richness of the area’s offerings, given the lack of open days and orientation events.
In the Bussola app, you can find all addresses and pathways included in the Monza and Brianza provincial authority educational policy plan (POF) and approved with Decree no. 3710 of 26.10.2020 by the Lombardy Regional Authority.

To help students and families in their choice, the Province offers an orientation tool: the “Bussola”, a Guide to Higher Education and Training in Brianza. This year it features a new layout and a dedicated App with a variety of training options, new features, and a map of schools and vocational training centres (over 100 courses).
